Reinsurance is insurance that is purchased by an insurance company from one or more other insurance companies (the “reinsurer”) as a means of risk management.
For Sedgwick Re I created a series of trade ads promoting their workers’ compensation, medical malpractice, and other product lines. Insurance trade publications are full of conceptually similar boring ads touting the mega-global nature of the companies. Humor was a non-traditional approach that received lots of favorable attention.
In the ‘Balance’ ads, I used striking visual metaphor to promote Sedgwick Re’s strengths. The ads stood out and received a great deal of favorable attention. I’m able to communicate complex ideas in ways that are easy to understand, compelling, and on target.
